Agios Andreas is a newly established settlement with 4 permanent residents. It belongs administratively to the Local Community of Katakolo (Region Unit of Ilia, Peloponnese). It is built in the pine-covered bay of Ancient Feia or Feiada, an area of special natural beauty which was the oldest port of Ilia overlooking the rocky islets of Ichthys or Tiganonisi and Zakynthos. It is located 13 km northwest of Pyrgos and at a distance of 2 km from the port of Katakolo.
The beach of Agios Andreas is located in Tigani bay and is about 12 km away from Pyrgos. The swimming shore is part of the open bay, 5.1 km long. The length of the beach is 60 m., the average width is 15 m., and is oriented in the southwest.
The marine biodiversity includes mainly algae, which are attached to the rocky parts of the coast. The access to the beach is by road. The beach is organized and has bathing service facilities. The maximum number of bathers is estimated at 300 people.
